Leicester City defender Conor Coady was delighted for Everton after last night's 2-0 win against Liverpool.
Coady spent last season at Goodison Park.
He told BBC Sport: "That was a proper Everton performance.
"It looked like a proper team, playing a certain way and sticking to it to make it difficult for Liverpool.
"They were brilliant all night and deserved to win."
