Leicester City defender Conor Coady can see Everton's players coming together after their 10-point penalty ruling.

Coady spent last season on-loan at Goodison Park.

"I think probably like any other player would, you can't affect it as footballers," Coady told Sky Sports. "They'll be saying the same thing. I'm still good mates with a few of the boys in the dressing room there and I think they'll be saying the same thing.

"They've had a good start to the season, they are playing well and I don't think it will affect them as a team and I'm sure they'll be looking at it now to kick on with the game after the international break."

He added, "It's hard to stand here now because I don't know the ins and outs of it, I'll be honest.

"I'm a football player and I don't look too much into that.

"As a footballer, you don't really look what's going on at clubs upstairs or whatever it is. As players you get on with it and I'm sure the Everton players will be doing that now. It is what it is, it's out and I'm sure they're dealing with it in the right way."
