KOTA KINABALU: The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) seized 4.6 kilogrammes of cocaine and 10.65 kilogrammes of cannabis worth nearly RM3 million during a raid at a courier service premises in Tawau last month.
Sabah Customs Director Dr Ahmad Taufik Sulaiman said the operation was carried out at about 11.45am on May 21 by the JKDM Tawau Enforcement Operations Team after officers detected two suspicious parcels believed to contain prohibited substances.
He said the seizure reflects ongoing enforcement efforts by to combat drug trafficking and smuggling activities in the state.
