
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health on Wednesday raised a “Code White Alert” after Super Typhoon “Inday” entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
In a statement, the DOH said that under the alert status, its operations center would be active 24/7 to ensure a rapid response to affected communities.
The DOH noted that it was also coordinating with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Local Government Units, and regional disaster units.
