Former Luton Town assistant manager Chris Cohen admits his surprise that his old side did not sign Nottingham Forest loanee Ethan Horvath.
Having spent last summer at Luton, the 28-year-old impressed in the Championship to help the team gain promotion.
While Horvath was ready to return, Luton boss Rob Edwards decided against the deal.
Speaking to Reds TV about Horvath, Cohen said: He deserves an opportunity to play in the Premier League.
"I can't believe Luton don't want him.
"He's a wonderful professional and he's good enough to play in the Premier League."
