Two rampant rumours ended on Saturday 6 May: Coldplay is on, foul play about toppling PMX is off.
Rumours ended on the second Saturday of Syawal that Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour 2023 is coming to KL and we woke up to the knowledge that there's no attempt really to topple PH led government.
For the whole of last week, there's speculation that PMX's government might get toppled with rumours all over town that there are enough Statutory Declarations (SD) to be presented to the King as evidence enough to replace the current administration.
First, a spokesman from the palace was quoted saying that such an attempt might not be accepted.
Second, PMX asked that the plotters present to Parliament the numbers needed to dethrone him.
When asked about the rumour, he responded by rubbishing them and said he is confident that "his administration would serve a full term with Pakatan Harapan, being able to defend three states against Perikatan Nasional at a forthcoming election sometime later this year."
Third, Peja the Bersatu deputy president denied that PN had been gathering SDs in a bid to overthrow PH led government under leadership of Anwar Ibrahim.

Instead, Deputy President of BERSATU Ahmad Faizal Azumu or Peja, says PN is focused on retaining Terengganu, Kelantan and Kedah in the next state elections with a view to capture Penang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan from Pakatan Harapan (PH).
“We have 74 (seats in Parliament) and we are steadfast in carrying out our responsibilities as a credible opposition,” he said at an Aidilfitri open house in Gombak Setia 06 May 2023.
A day earlier, event manager and artist manager, Nur Iman Tang, uploaded a video that was recorded at the crosswalk near Pavillion Bukit Bintang, reported by World of Buzz ending months of speculation about Coldplay coming to town.
"The centre of attraction in that clip is definitely the ad that was playing on the screen.The ad says: Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour 2023.
World of Buzz reported that "Many netizens were very excited by this announcement and kept asking when the tickets will be sold."
We are not going to speculate about tickets yet but we are certain you'll be given adequate notice to purchase tickets in time for the show.
Meanwhile, PMX government continues! No more rumours for now.
