Former England World Cup star Joe Cole has sung the praises of Liverpool midfielder Trent Alexander-Arnold after victory over Malta.
Alexander-Arnold scored in the 4-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win.
"He's been outstanding," Cole said on Channel 4. "He's picked up everything, he's probing with his passing, he's been at the hub at everything England have done.
"It's dispelled any questions about whether he can play in that position.
"You've got to have a system where you can get Trent playing in positions like that, where he can effect the game. He's a joy to play with for any forward."
