
Kota Kinabalu: State Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif has called for increased collaboration between Federal and State governments, the private sector, educational institutions, and society to combat cyber threats effectively.
“Close cooperation will help us build a robust and effective cybersecurity ecosystem,” he said at the closing ceremony of the 16th Sabah ICT Seminar, here, Wednesday.
“With the advancements in Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and big data, we face new and sophisticated cyber threats.
"These threats affect not just individuals, but organisations, companies, and even nations,” he said, acknowledging the growing challenges of cyber threats in an increasingly connected world.
