The change of the Spanish Super Cup to Saudi Arabia is under investigation.
Spain's Civil Guard requested the tracking of some of the accounts of Barcelona great Gerard Piqu, who entered, through his company Kosmos, into the conversations for the change of venue for the tournament.
The objective of the investigation is to discover if the former player gave gifts or donations to the former president of the RFEF, Luis Rubiales, or to other directors of the organisation for the negotiation, says Marca.
The former RFEF president is being investigated for an alleged crime of corruption.
