Concerned resident seeks urgent help to rescue a dog with its head stuck in a container for a week near Nasi Kandar outlet

A concerned resident is appealing for assistance to rescue a dog that has been wandering with its head stuck inside a container for a week.

Appealing to the online community, the woman wrote on Threads:

“Hi Threads members, I am seeking help from anyone who can assist this dog. It has been a week since the dog’s head became stuck in a container. I have lodged a report with an NGO, but there has been no action taken so far.”

The dog is frequently seen at night in the Persiaran Kasih area along Jalan Pegaga.

The woman later clarified that the dog is often spotted in front of a Nasi Kandar outlet near a corner heading towards Setia Alam.

Netizens have expressed deep concern and sympathy regarding the dog’s condition.

Many fear it has gone without food or water for the past week, while others have offered to search the area and requested a more precise location to aid rescue efforts.

In a follow-up update yesterday, the resident shared a photograph confirming that the dog’s head remains trapped.

She continues to appeal to anyone able to assist, hoping that someone will come forward to rescue the animal from its distress.
