LAHAD DATU: Drugs remain the country’s number one enemy that needs to be dealt with immediately as they destroy the youth’s future and paralyses the people’s physical and spiritual development.
Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Mohd Yusof Apdal, said that every year, there are new addicts, especially among teenagers in school and school leavers.
He said there are students in higher education institutions who are also addicts.
“The effects of drug abuse are so worrying. If seen from the addict’s point of view, they will start to distance themselves from society and associate only with their group.
