Kota Kinabalu: Both Sabah and Sarawak, in a strong response to Islamic party PAS, made it clear that holding concerts in both states will not be a problem so long as guidelines are observed.
Sarawak’s Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said, in fact, there have been inquiries by Peninsular Malaysians expressing interest in moving to that State.
In Sabah, National Armada Vice Chief Ceasar Mandela Malakun, who is Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, said concerts are welcome, including those featuring international artistes.
