- Several other foreign volunteers from the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, and the Czech Republic were also targeted in similar Russian court rulings.
- The ruling could further strain relations between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump as the US president attempts to broker a peace deal in Ukraine.
