RANAU: An “Operasi Bersepadu Khazanah” against conservation offenders led by the Sabah General Operation Forces (GOF) resulted in the seizure of items worth RM10,616,969 in less than a month.
The op was carried out on land and waters from June 16 until June 30 in forests statewide and involved police, Sabah Forestry Department, Sabah Wildlife Department, Sabah Parks and World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Bukit Aman Internal Security and Public Order Department director Dato’ Seri Hazani Ghazali, said there were 53 cases with 107 people arrested and compounds worth RM76,000.
