HUMANS are the main contributor to the stray dog and cat population in the world. Most would take the easy way out when they no longer have any interest in their pets.
That is why we beg people not to own a pet just because it is a pedigree or you think it is cute and you can get it for free!
At the beginning, when everything is still new the whole family will be engrossed with the pet. They will spend time with it take it for walks, dote on it, take it for grooming when necessary – but soon boredom sets in and the poor pet is ignored and neglected and the only person looking after it will be the maid.
