SANDAKAN: The issue of inconsistent water supply in Tanjong Papat is among the most frequently raised concerns by residents, according to the constituency’s candidate DatukFrankie Poon Ming Fung, during his walkabout at the public market and Sunday Market here on Sunday.
He said stall operators also hoped the roof of the public market would be repaired for the comfort and safety of all.
Poon said if given the mandate, addressing the people’s requests would be his priority.
“During the campaign, we also took the opportunity to inform residents that I am contesting under KDM and not my previous party,” said the former DAP Assemblyman who is now with KDM.
On whether he remains a well-known candidate in the constituency, he said voters still recognise him, although he is now contesting under a different party.
