
Kota Kinabalu: The State Government reaffirmed its strong commitment to empowering young women entrepreneurs through strategic support and inclusive initiatives.
State Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe said RM124.7 million had been allocated under the 2025 State Budget to support the growth of local industries and entrepreneurship, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Young Women Entrepreneurs Carnival 2025 held here, on May 4, Phoong said the initiative by the Millennial Women Entrepreneurs Association Sabah (MUMS) and alumni of the CreaMers programme deserves recognition.
