Tuaran: The Tenghilan Cultural Heritage Association performed a Dusun Tindal Mongigol dance (pictured above) to welcome the arrival of the 2024 Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang (KMJG) convoy.

Ten dancers from the association opened the KMJG District Level Programme, which was officiated by Rural Development Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim, who is also Tamparuli Assemblyman, who represented the Chief Minister.

During the same programme, Jahid handed appointment letters to 12 Madani Community chairpersons in the district, aside from presenting prizes to children in a colouring competition among Tadika Perpaduan kindergartens in the Tuaran area.

As a symbolic gesture of the convoy’s arrival in the Tuaran District, Jahid signed the KMJG travel logbook before officiating the convoy’s departure from the hall grounds.
