PETALING JAYA: Police are considering asking Interpol to help track down an Indonesian woman believed to be connected to the discovery of an infant’s body buried in a cement floor under the porch of a house in Ipoh on Aug 28.
Perak police chief Azizi Mat Aris said efforts are ongoing to locate the woman, who was the last tenant of the house, Harian Metro reported.
"The suspect has not yet been identified. We are actively pursuing leads on the Indonesian national who was believed to have lived in the house,"he was quoted as saying
"We have not yet confirmed whether she has left Malaysia or is still here. However, the police are working with other agencies, such as the immigration department, and utilising all available resources."

Ipoh police chief Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad had said that according to a pathologist at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, the baby girl was believed to have been delivered at seven months of pregnancy.
Abang Zainal said the new tenant, a 37-year-old Indonesian man, discovered the body wrapped in a sarong at about noon on Aug 28 while carrying out renovation work.
