Officers saved a missing young boy from drowning after he wandered into a Texas river.
Footage shared by Fort Worth Police in Texas shows the officers standing on the river bank as they spot the child, who was partially submerged and disorientated.
They first noticed the child - who was earlier reported missing - when they spotted what appears to be a yellow toy through the weeds on the river bank.
Wading into the river, the pair of cops helped guide the child safely out of the water at Trinity River on Friday (12 June).
“The child was evaluated by Fort Worth Fire Department as a precaution and is safe,” the force said.
