Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw broke down in tears as she delivered a heartbreaking cancer update.
Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and has since been undergoing chemotherapy.
In a video update posted on Thursday (23 July), the actor became emotional as she revealed that lesions in her breast had not shrunk in size, and had instead changed shape.
Shaw revealed that she cannot undergo surgery until they shrink. “Maybe a few more rounds will be all it takes,” she said with tears in her eyes.
The actor said that, while it was not the news she was expecting, she is hoping her “miracle” will come soon.
