Coronation Street star rushed to A&E after chemotherapy as she says she had ‘no strength left’

Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw was rushed to A&E following chemotherapy treatment as the actor said she had “no strength left”.

Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year.

In an update shared on Sunday (7 June), the actor became tearful as she opened up on the side effects of chemotherapy as she said she feels as “vulnerable as a baby”.

“ It just feels really tough today. It just feels really difficult to dig deep without the help of the ladies that I'm in contact with on Instagram,” she said, thanking people who have reached out to her with advice.
