Costco members get major theme park deal - but have one big complaint

Costco has revealed its latest travel deal that Disney fans will be happy to see.

The wholesale club is offering a Disneyland package that includes a two-day park-hopper pass and other perks for $329 per person, according to Costco’s travel website.

The package is valid for park visits from October 2 until December 18 and can be used at Anaheim’s Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. The second day of the park-hopper pass must be used within 13 days of the first visit.

The deal also includes a $60 park dining card and one Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which lets visitors skip normal lines. If purchased separately, the total combined cost for these items would be more than $500, according to Disney.

But Costco fans were quick to point out the same deal, offered by the store last summer, included a 3-day park-hopper ticket.

“Two things they downgraded from this deal from last year - from 3 days to 2 days now,” one user wrote. “Big important detail - tickets expire 13 days after first use. Last year you didn’t have to use within 2 weeks of first use.”

The offer is available at Costco locations, not through the club’s travel services. The Independent has contacted Costco for comment.

Costco, the biggest warehouse club in the country, has enjoyed a banner fiscal year. The company’s same-store sales have increased by at least 5 percent in every quarter, and it’s had back-to-back quarters of double-digit net sales growth, company records show.

The company opened 28 new warehouses in 2026 and plans to open 33 new locations in 2027, according to a recent earnings call.

Disney Experiences, which includes the brand’s theme parks, cruise line and merchandise, broke the company’s record for revenue from May to June 2026.

Walt Disney Company saw year-on-year growth across its three main assets - Disney Experiences, Disney+ streaming and sports netowrk ESPN.

“Our core platforms - Disney Experiences, Disney+, and ESPN - grew guests, users and audiences, respectively, versus the prior-year quarter,” CEO Josh D’Amaro said in a recent earnings call.
