Count Binface’s musical party election broadcast features Toby Carvery, ice cream, and amusements

Count Binface has just released a musical party election broadcast filled with digs at Nigel Farage ahead of the upcoming Clacton by-election.

The Reform UK leader is set to face an unprecedented 33 rival candidates in the by-election on 12 August, a contest he initiated in protest against media and parliamentary scrutiny of his financial affairs.

One of those contenders is Count Binface, the satirical alter ego of comedian Jon Harvey. In a musical number, a parody of The National Express by The Divine Comedy, released on Thursday (6 August), Count Binface promised that he would spend more time in Clacton than in Washington DC, and called out “unconditional gifts with a curious whiff” received by his opponent.

In ths music video, Count Binface also made trips to the arcade, an ice cream van and Toby Cavery.
