- Counter Terrorism Policing London has launched an investigation into an arson attack on a business in Hendon.
- A man was seen attempting to ignite a bag containing three bottles of liquid near a row of shops on Friday evening before fleeing the scene.
- The alleged attack was claimed online by individuals purporting to be from the group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiyah (HAYI), who said they were targeting Jewish education charity Jewish Futures.
- Commander Helen Flanagan noted that while the incident is not currently linked to other recent events, counter-terrorism officers are leading due to similarities with previous attacks, including one in Golders Green.
- Police confirmed minor damage to the shopfront and no injuries, with an increased police presence expected in the area to reassure the community.
