MANILA, Philippines — A local court issued a warrant of arrest for Vice President Sara Duterte for alleged grave threats, her lawyer said in a statement on Friday.
Lawyer Paul Lawrence Lim said Duterte would not evade the law and will continue to pursue legal remedies following the Quezon City Regional Trial Court’s order.
“Regardless of the question on jurisdiction, she has no intention of evading the law and will continue to exercise all her legal remedies,” said Lim.
