
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah registered 369 new Covid-19 cases, Wednesday, according to the State’s daily update.
“The sharp increase in the number of cases coincides with the increasingly high positivity rate,” read the update.
Wednesday’s positivity rate was 13.32 per cent with a total of 3,034 test samples, while the positivity rate on Tuesday was 11.35 per cent with a total of 3,189 test samples.
“As explained previously, the higher the positivity rate, the faster the infection spreads and the number of new patients will also increase.”
A total of 363 new cases recorded on Wednesday were in Categories 1 and Category 2, while two cases were in Category 3, three cases in Category 4 and a case in Category 5.
