‘Crypt crook’ takes toddler along to steal jewelry from mausoleum

A woman was caught on camera stealing jewelry from a mausoleum - all whilst accompanied by a toddler.

Surveillance video shows the woman entering the cemetery in Houston with the child in tow. She then begins opening glass cases containing cremated remains, taking jewlery and other valuables.

The woman is suspected of being involved in at least one more theft earlier this year at the same location.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office shared the footage as they appealed with anyone for information to come forward.
