Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is delighted having Paddy McCarthy part of his coaching staff.
Glasner says McCarthy decided himself to stay on.
He stated: It was Paddy's decision.
"We talked about it, and it was a very, very good decision that he stayed with us.
"I'm really happy with all his football qualities and human qualities."
