Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner was left disappointed with their 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth.
Justin Kluivert struck the winner for the hosts.
Glasner lamented: "If you don't score a goal you can't win. We had many good situations. You need to shoot. Maybe we have to improve, be more decisive in offensive positions.
"We didn't score and one situation for Bournemouth decided the game. I would worry about it if we didn't have the situations to score. We played really well in the second half but we have to be more direct and not passing and passing. Take the shots.
"We've got Manchester City next. They come to Selhurst and it's a game we won't have a lot of possession. Maybe we will get three or four chances but we have to be efficient. If you are not efficient you can lose everywhere."
