Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson is bringing back Shaun Derry to the club.
The coach was pushed out of Palace by former manager Patrick Vieira, with the Frenchman unhappy with Derry's man-management.
But the Daily Mail says Derry is returning to Palace as a first team coach and will join Ray Lewington, Paddy McCarthy and Dean Kiely as part of Hodgson's team.
Squad members saw the axing of Derry as a mistake by Vieira.
Hodgson signed up for the new season last week.
