Crystal Palace are confident of signing Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure.
Doucoure has agreed personal terms with the Eagles over a five-year contract.
The London Evening Standard says Palace have been in talks with Lens for weeks and a breakthrough has been found after they agreed to pay an initial fee of £18m, which could rise with add-ons to £22m.
Doucoure is a personal target for manager Patrick Vieira, who watched the 22 year-old emerging while coach of Nice.
He is set to arrive as a replacement for last season's Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher.
