Crystal Palace have failed with an approach to Arsenal for Eddie Nketiah.
The Daily Mail says Palace made an enquiry this week, but were informed that Nketiah is unavailable - for now.
Palace are expected to try again towards the end of the January transfer market.
The Eagles would seek an initial loan arrangement for the striker.
Nketiah is a required player by the Gunners, though things may change later in the winter window.
