Crystal Palace must splash the cash if they hope to secure Watford winger Ismaila Sarr.
The talented attacker is wanted by the London club, following Watford's relegation to the Championship last season.
However, the Hornets are seeking a mammoth fee for a player they signed from Rennes in 2019 for £30 million.
According to the Evening Standard, Palace will have to break their transfer record to secure Sarr.
The Senegal international has also been linked to Manchester United in recent weeks.
He still has two years remaining on his Watford contract.
