Crystal Palace are showing an interest in signing Bayern Munich defender Chris Richards.
The 22-year-old American was on loan at Hoffenheim last term.
He is not in the Bayern first team plans, after the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.
According to the Daily Mail, Richards does have another offer from Hoffenheim, but may prefer a move to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old is an assured center-back who wants regular football in a World Cup year.
He has only managed to play five games for Bayern since arriving in 2018 on an initial loan deal.
