Crystal Palace are ready to move in January for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Wharton.
Palace see the youngster as a replacement for Cheick Doucoure, who's season could be over after suffering an achilles injury.
The Sun says Palace are ready to bid for Wharton next month, but will face competition.
Newcastle, Brighton and Everton are also interested in making a January swoop for the 19-year-old.
Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson, meanwhile, will be reluctant to lose Wharton midway through the season.
