Premier League club Crystal Palace are making a change in their medical department.

The London-based team are said to be appointing Dr Imtiaz Ahmad from Queens Park Rangers.

Ahmad will serve as their new head of sports medicine, having been club doctor with QPR since 2016.

Per The Mail, the Eagles have gone through an extensive process of trying to find the right candidate.

Iqbal will replace Gary O'Driscoll, who is now at Manchester United after being at Palace for eight years.

Palace academy scout Ade Adeniran may also be on the way out, as he is being looked at for a senior role by Millwall.
