Kota Kinabalu: Sabah workers are concerned and unhappy that they are not getting any salary increment, while some even continue to suffer from deductions in their incomes following the Covid-19 pandemic.
Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) Sabah Secretary Catherine Jikunan said while the prices of goods continued to go up, the salaries for many remained the same, if not lesser.
“But, as we all know, ministers and assemblymen can now enjoy a 40pc salary increment. So when is our turn,” she asked.
