SABAK BERNAM, June 10 — The Gagasan Rumpun Selangor programme will be implemented in Petaling from June 19 to 21, said state executive councillor for rural development and unity Datuk Rizam Ismail.
He said the fourth edition of the programme will be a little different to fulfil the needs of the urban populace.

“Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah will participate in each programme to meet the people.
“This time it is a little different; the programme will be culture-centric and there will be exhibits with information on aid and job opportunities,” Rizam said when met after launching the Selangor Unity Week here yesterday.

In tabling Selangor’s Budget 2024, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari introduced Gagasan Rumpun Selangor to celebrate diversity and spark unity in the state.
Amirudin said the programme would be implemented in nine districts, to the tune of RM4.5 million
The programme has been implemented in Hulu Selangor, Hulu Langat and Sepang, and will be held in five more districts until year-end after the Petaling edition.
