Is there a Grammy in the offing for Cup of Joe? Maybe. The history making band from the North has submitted its track “Sandali” to the Grammy selection committee to compete in the Best Asian Pop Performance category.
Sandali is the title track from Cup of Joe’s latest EP. The song is significant in the fact that it was composed by all the band members and has two meanings.
In Filipino, “sandali” can mean wait or just a sec or it can be a moment. “Sandali” can now become Cup of Joe’s Grammy moment. And the wait and the hoping have now began for Joewahs everywhere.
But no matter what happens, Grammy or no Grammy the most streamed act in Philippine pop music history has readied an important surprise to cap its phenomenal year.
Cup of Joe is gearing up for their year-end masterpiece. This is Cup of Joe Symphony which is happening on December 3 and 4 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Laguna-born and Quezon City-based solo artist neytan drops the official music video for his new single “ikaw lang ang bossing ko” that is now posted on Offshore Music’s YouTube page.
With the continuous rise of his release, “ano lasa ng pag-ibig? edi tipaklong” which garnered over a million streams on Spotify alone and 150K spins on TikTok, the Laguna lover boy shared his follow-up single “ikaw lang ang bossing ko” as a way to further promote his “quirky song titles with deep meaning” agenda.
As of the moment, “ikaw lang ang bossing ko” has been getting similar traction from his previous release, with the song being an anthem for adoration and uplifting your favorite person.
To celebrate this new feat, neytan worked with label Offshore Music to produce the official music video, which was heavily inspired by his preceding and equally successful lyric video of the same track. The video features the Quezon City-based singer alone in a bathroom of Room 5, Chapterhouse playing the song with his guitar as the official lyrics pops on screen.
Neytan believes bathrooms are fitting settings for these musical projects because they are essential spaces for everyone. More importantly, the setting adds fun and humor, reflecting his artistic identity: meaningful yet amusing.
The official music video follows a more deliberate narrative, with neytan performing the song in a bathroom at Sari Kitchen. Behind one of the stalls awaits a familiar figure: “ultimate OPM bossing” Ely Buendia, rock icon and CEO of Offshore Music.
“It was a very exciting concept and it feels like a weird dream doing it with sir Ely [Buendia],” shares neytan.
The young hitmaker has been with Buendia’s label since 2023 with “Microbangs” as his first ever release, and since then, both neytan and the label have been working hand-in-hand to further push his music to eyes and ears everywhere.
Neytan edited the music video himself, an experience he found exciting as a multimedia arts student.
“I generally love being creative in any area,” he says, noting that his interests extend beyond music to the visual arts.
Watch the music video exclusively at the Offshore Music YouTube channel.
