Kota Kinabalu: State Customs made its biggest drug seizure with 205kgs of syabu worth at least RM6.8 million at a commercial centre in Donggongon, Penampang, last Thursday (Feb 15).
Sabah Customs Assistant Director Datuk Mohd Nasir Deraman said a team raided the premises of a courier company at 9.10am and uncovered 15 boxes of the drug.
“Scanners showed the suspicious contents kept in tea bags meant to fool authorities while narcotics analysis confirmed it was syabu," he told a press conference on Friday.
“No arrests have been made, however, efforts continue to track down the package’s sender and intended recipient.”
