
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Customs Department seized suspected smuggled beer worth RM2.7 million at Sepanggar Port, near here, on May 10, it has been reported.
The beer was discovered inside six containers falsely declared as containing furniture, clothing, electrical appliances and hardware products, Overseas Chinese Daily News reported.
A team from the Kota Kinabalu Customs enforcement unit conducted the raid.
