Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane was delighted with the result of his knee operation last week.
Sane suffered an ACL injury in the Community Shield earlier this month.
The Germany international took to social media yesterday to state: "Thank you very much for all your messages and encouragement!
"The last two days have been difficult, but the operation went as planned. I am positive and ready for my recovery!"
There's confidence inside City and the Germany national team camp that Sane will be playing again before the end of the season.
