Brighton could sign Adam Webster without having to sell Lewis Dunk.

The Seagulls are close to completing a 20m deal for Bristol City stopper Webster.

The news had fuelled speculation Dunk would be allowed to join Leicester City, who are making plans in case Harry Maguire signs for Manchester United.

However, The Argus says the move for Webster would have "no direct implications" on Dunk's future.

The Brighton academy graduate is reportedly focused on another season at the AMEX.
