Manchester United are offering 19-year-old midfielder Angel Gomes a bumper new deal.
Gomes joined United's academy at the age of six and has now broken through into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first-team plans after a series of impressive performances.
United are said to be closing in on a new contract for Gomes with an announcement expected in the coming days, as they bid to keep hold of one of their brightest young talents, says the Daily Mail.
Gomes has played three times for United's first team this season, opening his senior account against Astana in the Europa League.
He played 68 minutes in the 1-0 victory, before then coming off the bench against West Ham in the Premier League just three days later.
