Former Roma and Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri is in talks for the Guinea job.
France Football says Ranieri is on a shortlist of names the Guinean FA is considering.
Guinea sacked Paul Put on the back of their last-16 exit at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ranieri is available after leaving Roma at the end of last season.
The Italian has past international experience with Greece.
