Former Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole believes his old club has the title sewn up.
After Newcastle United held Manchester City to a 2-2 draw, Liverpool went 11 points clear at the top of the table with victory over Brighton.
Cole insists the emphatic result in the north east of England has settled the title race for this season already, with Liverpool firm favourites to win their first Premier League title.
"I think Man City have handed Liverpool the title here today,' Cole told BT Sport before the Reds' clash with Brighton.
"I think Liverpool probably win later today and 11 points is too much to come back from."
