‘Dai Dai’ lyrics in full as Shakira performs official World Cup 2026 song with Burna Boy

Shakira is set to perform the official 2026 World Cup song in Mexico City ahead of Mexico’s game against South Africa on Thursday.

Colombian megastar Shakira has teamed up with Nigerian artist Burna Boy to release this year’s World Cup song.

Shakira, of course, is no stranger to a World Cup anthem. Indeed, her global hit ‘Waka, Waka (This Time for Africa)’ is still played today, 16 years on from its release for the 2010 edition in South Africa.

The 49-year-old has released ‘Dai Dai’ for this year’s World Cup tournament, which roughly translates to “let’s go” in English or “Vamos” in Spanish.
