Kuala Lumpur: Former finance minister Daim Zainuddin was charged earlier today with failing to declare to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) his ownership of 71 assets.
He is accused of failing to declare ownership in 38 companies, 19 plots of land in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Kedah and Kuala Lumpur, as well as six properties.
Daim is also alleged to have failed to declare his ownership of Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN) and Amanah Saham Berhad (ASB) accounts as well as seven luxury vehicles.
The following is the breakdown of the 71 assets listed in the court charge as owned by him.
