Daisy Edgar-Jones said she “fell in love” with Paul Mescal while working on Normal People.
The actors appeared together at Fastnet Film Festival in Cork on Friday, 24 May, for a conversation with the TV series director Lenny Abrahamson moderated by Paddy Breathnach.
Edgar-Jones was describing the love she felt during the project, recalling how much she adored the book, director, and cast.
“Met Paul, fell in love with Paul... as a friend. I’m announcing it here,” she added, laughing.
“I truly fell in love with Marianne as well. Love was just completely surrounding it.”
